The RCEC operation produces up to 10,000 MW of thermal “green” energy annually, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions in Revelstoke by approximately 4000 tonnes CO2e annually, while heating the local community-centre, pool, two schools, an apartment building, and other facilities. The CES, with redundancies, provides uninterrupted delivery of energy to all its customers.
